******UP-COMING CHAPTER EVENTS******

September 17
Time: 11 am – 1 pm
Place: F1 Race Factory, Just south of Washington on 48th Street

Go-kart racing at F1 Race Factory! Brothers Scott Sanders and Todd
Juhl (both UofA Alums) will be hosting the Phoenix Sigma Chi Alumni
Chapter for an afternoon of racing at their awesome in-door karting
facility at 48th Street & Washington.

They are suppling us with forty 2-for-1 race coupons and use of their
Trackside lounge, the Monaco Room, where you can enjoy a cold
beverage (adult or otherwise) and pizza from their in-house Bar &
Grill after trying to prove how fast you are on track. While we are
not limiting the number of guys that can attend as their facility can
accommodate 150 racers per hour we are asking that if you want to
attend please RSVP as the number of coupons is limited. They will
initially be issued on a first-RSVP, first-served basis to Brothers
only. If we have additional coupons available the day of the event
they will be made available to your quests, if you bring any, on a
first-come, first-served basis.

If you have never been to their facility the cost for a single race
is $20 and the normal cost for a second race is $18 so the 2 for 1
discount is worth some real coin. To race you also need a
“membership” with the track. There are annual memberships for $20 (a
good deal if you plan on returning – free t-shirt, free race on your
birthday, etc…) or you can obtain a “day” license for just $5.

Visit http://www.f1racefactory.com to learn more about this
world-class karting facility located here in Phoenix. We are
planning on having some prizes for the Brothers with the best
recorded lap times. So go by the facility and get in some practice
laps before September 17th.

By starting at 11 am when the facility opens we will minimize the
potential for having to deal with any crowds and can be done earlier
in the day for those that want to do other activities that day like
attend the ASU v. Northwestern Football game that night (7pm) at Sun
Devil Stadium.
